About GoldOfferCheck
A simple tool for understanding the metal-value math behind a gold buyer offer.
Why it exists
Gold buyers often quote one cash number while the seller is trying to compare weight, purity, the current reference price, and possible deductions. GoldOfferCheck puts those inputs in one visible calculation so an ordinary seller can ask better questions.
What we do
We provide educational calculators and guides. The calculator estimates melt value and shows how an entered offer compares with that estimate.
What we do not do
GoldOfferCheck does not buy gold, issue purchase offers, certify purity, inspect items, recommend a particular buyer, or provide professional appraisals, investment advice, legal advice, or tax advice.
Editorial approach
Formulas, conversion factors, data sources, and limitations are published on the methodology page. GoldOfferCheck does not accept payment from gold buyers for rankings or recommendations.
